John Paul Jones (1924-1999) was a painter, sculptor, printmaker, and arts educator. Always considered an “artist’s artist,” he became a prominent figure in Los Angeles in the 1960’s contemporary art scene; and was Founder of the printmaking programs at UCLA and UCI.
