KIM ABELES is dedicated to creating poignant, contemporary work with both universal and personal relevance. In her new body of work Newport Coast 260° Abeles maps areas of coastal Orange County while revealing environmental, political, and social topics. She creates a personal and relevant dialog uniquely meaningful to Southern Californian viewers. The exhibits at SCAPE and the Shed coincide with the 2007 regional and national focus on women artists.
